A mountain ecosystem is generally located at high elevations in low latitudes. However, it is quite susceptible to natural disasters such as landslides, soil erosion, and habitat loss. Dense forests are a common feature of mountain ecosystems at moderate elevations. As you climb higher, vegetation becomes less abundant, and at extreme altitudes, it may vanish entirely.
